Thelma Marie Davis, 85, Waynetown died 8:19 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mrs. Davis was formerly a cook at the Waynetown Cafe and was former co-owner of Davis TV Repair Shop, Waynetown. She was a Veedersburg United Methodist Church member and attended Veedersburg schools.
She was born May 26, 1916 at Crawfordsville to Clarence and Evelan McElwee Keys. She married Roy M. Davis. He died March 15. Survivors include two sons, Larry, Fort Myers, Fla and Donald, Waynetown; a daughter, Linda L. Jarrard, Lafayette; five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown, with Rev. David Low officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. - kbz
