GLADSTONE, Mo. — Lloyd L. Davis,
93, Gladstone, Mo., died at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in Woodbine Health
Care Center, Kansas City. He was born July 10, 1912 in West Lebanon, the son of
George and Edna (Anderson) Davis. He married Veatrice Lewis Feb. 23, 1934 in
Danville, Ill. She preceded in death Dec. 10, 1990. He was an Army veteran of
World War II. He had been a resident of Kansas City for 63 years, moving from
Danville. He was a Mason and a member of First united Methodist Church of North
Kansas City and the Wally Byam Caravan Club for many years. Survivors include:
a brother, Joseph E. (Doris) Davis, Danville; two sisters, Glendora (Theodore)
……..urmeister, Danville and Margie (Bert) Ellis, Louisville, Ky. He was also
preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers. Funeral services were at
11 a.m. Monday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Dale Deneal officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park with military services by Curtis G. Redden
Post #210 American Legion. Contributions may be made to the American Heart
Association or North Care Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
