Kingman – James R. Davis, 69-year-old retired railroader died Tuesday May 6 at the home of Dale Wilfong of Kingman Rt 2 where he had lived the last several months. A native of Elwood Township, Vermilion County, Ill he was the son of Stephen and Mary Davis. He was born March 29, 1900. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Woodrow Funeral Home here. The Rev. Larry McMilan officiated and burial was in Harveysburg Cemetery. – kbz
