Mellott – Harry Davis, 91 of Rt 3, Veedersburg died at 10:20 p.m. Monday in Veterans Hospital, Danville, Ill. Mr. Davis was employed at Chrysler Corp in Detroit, Mich until retiring in 1958. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio he was born Dec 25, 1893 and moved to Veedersburg in 1978. He lived at Rt 3, Veedersburg. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Detroit and a former member of United Auto Workers. An Army veteran of WWI, he served in France. In 1924, he was married in Mount Clemens, Mich to Gladys Sutton. She died Jan 7, 1980. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Tucker of Rt 3, Veedersburg.

Davis, Harry – Visitation 6-8 p.m. today at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Service 2 p.m. Thursday in Crumley-Williams Chapel the Rev. Karl Kobel officiating. Interment Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Surviving are 2 granddaughters, Mrs. Rolland Seymour and Mrs. Robert Miller; a grandson, Thomas A. Stucker, Jr; 2 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. – kbz
