Glenn F. Davis, 64, of 311 N. Walnut St., collapsed suddenly Saturday evening and was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital. He was born May 22, 1905, at Hillsboro, a son of Floyd and Aerie Schlosser Davis. He was married to Pearl Newlin. He was a member of Eagles Lodge, and was a city employe more than 30 years, before retiring in 1967. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Betty Shrout and Mrs. Norma Scaggs, both of Crawfordsville; a son, Jack, of Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Xaivier of Plymouth; two brothers, Ellsworth of Champaign, Ill., and Cecil of Gilman, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Ralph. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hunt and Son, with Rev. James Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - jlr
