Funeral service for Thomas J. Davidson, 77 former resident of Hillsboro who died at a nursing home at Woodruff Place, Indianapolis Thursday Aug 2 was held from the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. GT Johnson, pastor of the Hillsboro Methodist Church had charge and organ music was by Mrs. Clair Crumley. A Masonic service was held with Maurice H. Williams as acting worshipful master. The pall bearers were the following Masons: Elmer Hesler, Marion Glascock, Roy Thornton, Joe Newman, Forrest Hesser and Paul Jones. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.  Thomas J. Davidson was born in Hillsboro in Sept 1878 the son of John and Bell Hitchcock Davidson. He was married to Hallie Petit of Veedersburg who preceded him in death several years. His parents and four sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Most of his married life was spent in Indianapolis where he was employed by Kingan & Co retiring several years ago. A part of his retirement was spent with relatives and friends in Hillsboro. For the past few years he had resided at Woodruff Place and had been in declining health.  – kbz
