DAVIDSON, Martha

The people of Covington and vicinity were shocked on Monday when the news came that Mrs. Martha Davidson, wife of Mace Davison who resides east of that town had passed away during the night at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. Mrs. Davidson was taken to the hospital a few days ago and underwent an operation for the removal of gall stones and was reported to be recovering satisfactorily following the operation. A sudden change for the worse on Sunday resulted in death. The deceased was about 62 years of age and was among the best known residents of the community where she had spent her entire life. .Besides the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Nolla Norris of Covington and one son, Nave Davidson of Danville survive. Funeral arrangements have not bee announced. – kbz
