Cayuga, Ind - Dr. F.C. Darroch, 75, practicing physician in Cayuga for 52 years died at Union Hospital in Terre Haute at 1:20 p.m. Sunday April 24, 1955. He had been in ill health for two months. Dr. Darroch was born April 14, 1880 at Bellemore (sic) Ind, Parke County son of Dr. W.P. and Rachel Blake Darroch. He married Grace Molter, and she preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Cayuga HS, University of Kentucky and Rush Medical School in Chicago. He was a member of the Cayuga Presbyterian Church. Dr. Darroch was a 50-year-member of Cayuga Masonic Lodge 584, Parke and Vermillion County Medical Associations, Senior member of the American Medication Association, Aesculpian Society and a charter member of the Tri-County saddle Club. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Darroch of Miami, Fla, a son, Henry Paxton Darroch of Cayuga. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cayuga Presbyterian Church with Rev. Allen Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery (Newport). The body will be left at the Watson Funeral Home until one hour prior to services.
