DARLING, Hester Walker - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hester Elizabeth Darling, 90, Crawfordsville died 4:27 a.m. Monday in Lane House Nursing Care Center.  Mrs. Darling was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Williamsburg HS and membe rof Yountsville Community Church. She was born Jan 16, 1912 at Hillsboro to Carl Ainsworth and Cora May Livengood Walker. She married Richard Emerson Darling June 28, 1931 at Veedersburg.  He died June 23, 1991.  Survivors include a son, Rollin Bruce, Port Washington, NY; a daughter, Janet Fay, Crawfordsville; a sister, Catherine Fenters, Royal Center, Ind; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A daughter, Lois K. Darling, a son, Curtis and an infant sister are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown with Rev. Alan Goff officiating.  Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday..
