Kingman, Feb 8 -- William E. Dark, 78, retired farmer, died at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at his home in Kingman. He had been ill several weeks. Born Feb 26, 1871, Mr. Dark was the son of Joseph and Emma Stull Dark. He married Effie Cory Sept 23, 1895. Surviving are the widow; 3 daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bowman, Waveland; Mrs. Mabel Bennett, Danville, Ill; and Mrs. Cybil Shuler of Wallace; 3 grandsons, a brother, Thomas Dark of Kingman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Kingman Evengelical United Brethren Church with burial at Paternal Cemetery, Rev. HA Lashbrook will officiate.

Mr. Dark was born in Fountain County Sept 26, 1871, son of Joseph and Emily Stull Dark. He was married Sept 15, 1895 to Effie Cory who survives. He also leaves three daughters: Mrs. Mabele Bennett, Danville; Mrs. Sybil Shuler, Hillsboro and Mrs. Mildred Bowman, Waveland and a brother, Thomas, Kingman – kbz
