Mrs. Minnie L. Dark, 73 died at 5:20 a.m. Thursday July 4, 1963 at Culver Hospital, C'ville. SHe had been a patient there one day and seriously ill the pst year. Born Dec 27, 1889 in Montogmery County, she was the daughter of Osborn & Rose Norman Payton. She was marr. Aug 16, 1906 to Clarence Dark, who preceded her ind . on March 25, 1948. Mrs. D. was a life residetn of Ft. Co. She had resided in Kingman until 1944 when she moved to her presnt home osuth of Veedersburg. She was a member of Centennial EUB church and NEw Century Ladies Aid. Surv. include a son, Marvin of Veedersburg; 5 daughters Miss Veda Dark; Mrs. Ruth Higgins and Mrs Marylee Grimes all of C'ville; Mrs. Helen Weisheit of Kingman and Mrs. Lela Froedge of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Goerge Stoup of Kingman, a half sister, MRr. Lydia Snider of Wingate; 17 grandch and 3 greats. She also preced in death by a sister. Serv. 4 p.m.Sat July 6 at Centennial. Rev Henry Karge and JS Pritchard officiated. Burial in Kingman Fratenral Cem. Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home of Covington in charge
