DARK, Jay Carson
Source: Danville Commercial News. Kingman Ind. Jay Carson Dark, 32, of Kingman Route 1, was fatally injured Friday April 29 1988, while working on a construction site on Interstate 74. He was employed by Fauber Construction Co.
He was born in Danville, Ill., Feb 28 1956 the son of Frank and Georgeanna Dark. On June 12 1982 he was married to Carla Dismore who survives.
Mr. Dark was a 1974 graduate of Fountain Central High School. He belonged to the Kingman Christian church and the F&AM Lodge No 314 and was a member of the Advisory Board of Millcreek Township. He was an assistant rural mail carrier, and was an active member of the American Black and Tan Coon Hound Association.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Brittany Abernathy of Covington, Candace Jo and Clarissa Kay at home; one son Reuben Jay at home; his mother George Anna Dark of Seattle, formerly of Kingman; two sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Debby) King of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Dan (Diana) Holt of Sale m, Ore.; and aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Woodrow Funeral Homme in Kingman, with Rev. Larry McMillan officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday with Masonic services at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. - thanks to Betty D
