Covington Oct 30 (1943) – Mrs. Gladys M. Daniels, 39, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, following a long illness. She was born Aug 4, 1904 in Vermillion County, a daughter of Karnes and Mary Shelly Martin. She was married in 1922 to Theodore E. Daniels who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gene and Eddie, at home; the father and stepmother of near Covington; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Watson of Greenfield; Mrs. Bernice Tallman of Kingman; Mrs. Edith Ohl of Perrysville and Mrs. Marie Gouty of Covington; two brothers, Orville Martin of Foster and Basil Martin of Covington; three half-brothers, Richard, Robert and Henry Wilson Martin of near Covington. She was a member of the Christian Church in Covington.
