CUSHMAN, Alice Schwin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington—Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Schwin Cushman of Princeton, Ind., a former resident of Covington, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Colven Funeral Home there. Burial was in the Princeton Cemetery.

  Mrs. Cushman was 96 years old and was the oldest surviving member of the 1895 graduating class of Covington High School. She was born Feb. 12, 1877 and she was a sister to the late George P. Schwin of Covington. She had been in failing health the past year or two.

  Survivors include: a son, Robert Cushman of Highland Park, Ill., and six grandchildren. Relatives in this area include two nieces, Miss Sara Schwin of Covington and Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Burgner of Veedersburg, and a nephew, George Schwin Jr., of Rockville. Another nephew, John Schwin, resides in Deerfield Beach, Fla. - s
