Lucille Cunningham, 80, of Wallace, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. A resident of the Wallace area since 1944, she lived in the Covington area from 1904 to 1944. She was a member of the Wallace Christian Church, Wallace Church Laides Aide; Wolf Creek Ladies Aide and Wallace Sr. Citizens. She graduated from Covington HS and Utterbach Business College, Danville. She was born Aug 3, 1904 near Decatur, Ill the daughter of Maurice M. and Blanche Claypool Young. She marr. Lonnie Cunningham March 15, 1944. He died Feb 10, 1974. Survivors include a brother, William C. Young; Covington; 3 sisters, Clara Ratcliff and Elva Hornaday both of Covington and Myra Coffing, Rt 3, Veedersburg; a stepdaughter, Lois MIller, Veedersburg; two step daughters-in-law, Grace Cunningham, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Charles Cunningham, Wallace. Fuenral seravices were held at 11 a. m. Thursday April 18 at Thomas Funeral Home in Wayentown, Rev. Mike Sabens offic. Burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery. The family requested memorials be in the form of contributions to the Wallace Christian Church.
