CUNNINGHAM, Clyde

Clyde Cunningham, 71, native of Covington, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 4, 1057) in St. Elizabeth Hospital.  He had been ill for two weeks.
Mr. Cunningham was born July 14, 1886, in Warren County, son of Ruben and Anna Ulmer Cunningham.  He was married Sept. 8, 1908, to Gertrude Shuff who preceded him in death in 1951.
He was a member of Benson Chapel Church and had been employed at the aluminum plant in Lafayette and also as a farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Sadler of Danville and Mrs. Marie Harper of Stone Bluff; two sons, William V. Cunningham of Covington and Clyde Jr., of Danville; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Two children and two brothers preceded him in death.  Services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday.  The Rev. G. Elwood Andrson officiated, with burial in Upper Mound Cemetery.  - jz
