CUNDIFF, Lillian Wilcoxen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington- Lillian Florence Cundiff, 92, died at 7:55 p.m. March 9, 1997 in Covington Manor Health Care. She was born April 22, 1904 at Union NCorner, Vmilion County, Ill, the daughter of John N. and Kate Gibson Wilcoxen. She was married to Russell L. Cundiff. He preceded her ind eath Sept 2, 1979. She lived at Rt 2, Covington from 1929-1989, when she moved into town. She was active member of Benson Chapel United Methodist Church and United Methodist Church Women. She enjoyed flowers and grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters, Marjorie (Charles) Jackson, Perrysville; Ruby (Jack) Holmes, Henderson, NY and Phyllis (Donald) Hutchison, Ballwin, Mo; a son, Warren (Sheila) Cundiff, COvington; a daughter-in-law, Dorothea Cundiff, Covington; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Karl Stanley Cundiff; four sisters and six brothers. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesdy at Benson Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Dillon officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, Ill. Shelby Funeral Home, Covington was in charge.
