Roy Crumly, 64, of Veedersburg, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday July 12, 1960 at his home following a one week illness.
Born March 26, 1896 north of Hillsboro, he was the son of Bert and Dicey McCollum Crumly. He was married to Naomi Laird of Hillsboro, who survives. He was later married to Irene Teegarden, who survives.
Mr. Crumly had been employed at the battery plant in Attica.
Other survivors include two sons, Roy Jr., of Crawfordsville and Leland of Chicago; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Clark and Mrs. Loretta Reed both of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Pauline Lindquist of Veedersburg and Miss Helen Joan Crumly of Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, Fred of Alexandria, Va., and Ward of Veedersburg Rural Route; and two sisters, Mrs. Rene Ballis of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Alice Helmick of Hillsboro.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The body
