Mellott - Fleta M. Crumley, 91 of Mellott died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday in Covington Manor Health Care Center in Covington. She had been ill for five years. Born Aug 13, 1898 in Wingate she attended Wingate School. She married Forest Crumley Sept 7, 1918. He died Aug 9, 1972. Mrs. Crumley was a member of Mellott United Church of Christ and Home Demonstration Club and Heritage Club both in Hillsboro. She also was a 50-year charter member of Fountain County Chorus. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Betty Sparks of Indianapolis, Mrs. Rose Emma Smith of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bernice Harlan of Kingman and two sons, Bill Crumley of Riverside, Calif and Jack Crumley of Washington, Neb.

Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Wingate. Surviving are 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 dzaughters, 2 sons, 1 sister, 1 brother, 2 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter. Memorials to Mellott Church.
