Earl William Cruea, 53, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home in Covington.
Born August 9, 1905 in Covington, he was the son of William and Bertha Hodge Cruea. He was married to Cora Handcock, on
July 22, 1943, who survives.
Mr. Cruea had been a life resident of Covington and had been employed as a truck driver and laborer. He was a veteran of services with the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his mother of Covington; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Southgate of Indianapolis, Mrs. Barbara Neubaun of Chicago, and Mrs. Darla Skeen of Covington; a son, Donald of Chicago; two brothers, Arthur of Kingman and George of Covington; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Noble, Mrs. Reba Hershberger and Mrs. Louise Hurley, all of Covington and Mrs. Lelia Ciifton of Danville; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. - jz
