CROWDER, Mary E. Massey - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Woodrow Funeral home in Kingman for Mrs. Mary E. Crowder, 67 of Kingman. She died Friday night (Dec 15, 1978) at the Indiana University Medical Center after undergoing open heart surgery earlier in the day. The Rev. Larry McMillan of Oxford Ind will officiate. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cem. Visitiation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Crowder was a member of the Charity Rebekah Lodge of Kingman 517, the Kingman Senior Citizens Organization the NGO Birthday Club and the Kingman Christian Church Ladies Aid Society. Born Dec 20, 1910 in NY City she was the daughter of Elijah and Winifred Pokorny Massey. She married Eston Crowder 5-19-1931. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Don Crowder of Kingman and Bill Crowder of Indianapolis; a brother, Robert Massey of Kingman Rt. 2 ; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
