CROWDER, James B. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

James B. Crowder, son of Anderson and Margaret Hawkins Crowder, was born Feb 25, 1857, and departed this life at the home of his daughter, March 29, 1950 at the age of 93 years and 32 days (sic). He was united in marriage to Martha Jane Allen 9-26-1877 and to this union were born 4 children, two boys and two girls, namely Johnny A. who died in infancy, Elmer of Waveland; Ivey Babb deceased and Dessie Norris, at whose home he died. There were 10 grandchildren and 10 greats and one sister, Mrs. Lavina Cowgill and a host of friends to mourn his going away.
