CROWDER, Gay Allen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gay R. Crowder of Perrysville, age 86, died Wednesday morning, May 25, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Missouri, March 20, 1897, the daughter of David and Ada Wallace Allen, and spent many of her early years at Cates. March 19, 1915, she married Otto L. Crowder, who died October 20, 1966.

  Surviving are a daughter, Avis Montaque of Perrysville; a sister, Fredia Holycross of Danville, Illinois; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial was in Cooper’s Cemetery. – thanks so much to S
