Newtown – Victor Cronk, 80, died Saturday night in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Kerst, Danville, Ill, following an extended illness. He had been visiting his daughter for three months. Born near Veedersburg, he came to Newtown in 1935. Until his retirement in 1950 he was employed by National Homes Corp in Lafayette. His wife, the former Flora Warrenfelt died in 1947. Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Hazel Kerst is a son, Edwin in Phoenix, Arizona. --transcribed by kbz
