Alma Crawford, 92, formerly of Route 1, Attica, who had been residing at Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica, for the past five years, died at the nursing center on Monday, Jan. 28, at 10:40 p.m. She was born in Logan Township, Fountain County, Sept. 4, 1892, the daughter of John and Laura Luella Shultz Crawford. She was a life resident of Logan Township and she was born in the same house that she had lived in all of her life. She attended Attica High School. She was a member of the Bethel Church, Bethel Community Circle and Bethel Ladies Aide. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lynn (Christel) Bell, Newtown, and Mrs. Eva Lorene Aamodt, Olympia, Wash., and several nieces and nephews. One brother, John Crawford, preceded in death. Funeral services were held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Dr. Otis Collier and the Rev. Eugene Rapson officiating. Burial was in Newtown Cemetery. Selections of “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere”, and “The Old Rugged Cross”, were played. Those serving as pallbearers were Glen Bossaer, Jeff Bossaer, Mike Bossaer, George Stafford, David Bell, and Reid Bell. – s
