Potomac, Ill.—Lyle T. Craw, 73, Potomac, died at 2:04 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 1989, at United Samaritans Medical Center, Sager Campus, Danville, Ill.  He was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Oxford, the son of Roland B. and Ruby Tharp Craw. He was married in 1937 to Ruby Rolan, who preceded him in death. He was married December. 20, 1951 in Covington, to Joyce Hayden, who survives.   He graduated from Oxford High School in 1933. He then went to work for his grandfather and then his father in the newspaper and printing business. He also worked for the Watseka Times and also in St. Louis, Lowell, Ind. and Georgetown, Ill., all in the printing business.  In 1950, he moved to Potomac and started the Middlefork and Journal Newspaper and Print Shop, where he worked until he became ill in 1985.  Surviving, besides his wife, are three daughters, Connie Craw, Manitou Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Tim (Viann) Martyka, Urbana, Ill. and Mrs. Randy (Norine) Sollars, Armstrong, Ill.; a son, Duane, Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Reynolds and a brother, Harlan. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Wolfe Funeral Home, Potomac, with Roy McMahan officiating.
