Mr. and Mrs. Everett Kay, Hillsboro, received word Wednesday morning of the death of their grandson, Stephen, seven months old son of Elmer and Doris Kay Crane, of Indianapolis. He died at the City Hospital in
Indianapolis at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday June 23. He had been suffering from whooping cough with an attack of thrush, Saturday from which pneumonia developed, causing his death.
He was born in Indianapolis Nov 7, 1942 and is survived by his parents and five-year-old twin sisters, Sharon Lee and Carol Kay and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kay of HIllsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Crane of Crawfordsville. The Crane family formerly resided in Hillsboro. It was thought funeral service would be held in Indianapolis either Thursday or Friday with burial in Rose Hill cemetery, Hillsboro. Mr. and Mrs. Kay and daughter Mrs. Maurene Leech of Lafayette left at once for Indianapolis.
