CRANE, Carlyle - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Carlyle Crane, 61, formerly of Veedersburg, passed away at his home in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 16, 1962. Mr. Crane was born July 20, 1900, on the Crane farm northeast of Veedersburg, the son of Clifford and Kathryn Hancock Crane. He was reared and spent most of his life in Veedersburg. He had moved to California about five years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mildred, three daughters, Jeannine of Berkley, Cal., Nancy of Rome, Italy, and Elaine of Los Angeles. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Shufflebeam of Veedersburg and a brother, Fred of Los Angeles. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles and burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
