Mrs. Ada Craig, wife of OwenCraig, Veedersburg, passed away at the home of a son, Edgar, Saturdaymorning at seven o'clock . Her death followed an illness of several weeksand was caused by heart disease. Her condition was not regarded seriousand her death came quite unexpectedly. Mrs. Craig was born June 2, 1868,on a farm south of Veedersburg; She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Drollinger and was united in marriage with Owen Craig fifty yearsago. She was a member of the United Brethren church. Surviving are thehusband, five sons, Edgar, Roy, Samuel, William , and Clifford, all ofVeedersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Grigson, of Veedersburg; one sister,Mrs. Rosa Tinder, and a brother, Bert Drollinger, both of Yeddo. Funeralservices were held Monday afternoon at the Christian church at 1:30o'clock. Funeral services were held Mondya afternoon at 2 o'clock at theChristian church with Rev. Clarence Fleetwood officiating. Mrs. KatherineOdle, accompanied by Mrs. Wilda Grimes, sand "TheOld Rugged Cross","Beautiful Garden of Prayer", and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye." Pallbearers included: Alfred Hershberger, Ralph Craig, Lee Cory, JamesGrubbs, Charles Grigson, Fred McClain, Junior Craig and Robert Craig.Flower bearers were: Beatrice Craig, Annabelle Grigson, Hildred Grigson,Ada Lois Grigson, Elizabeth Ann Grigson, Janice Lou Craig, Mrs. ThelmaMcClain, Mrs. Davis Grubb, Mrs. Gladys Cory. Interment was made in the Bonebrake Cemetery.

Ada Dora Craig was born June 2, 1868, and passed away May 9,1936, at the home of her son, Edgar, at the age of 67 years, 11 months,and 7 days. On June 2, 1886, she united in marriage to Owen B. Craig, and to the union seven children were born. She united with the Christian church of New Liberty about forty years ago. About twenty five years ago she moved to Veedersburg and changed her membership to the Christian church here, where she remained true to its teaching through the remaining years of her life. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband,six sons, William, Samuel, Clifford, Edgar, and Roy Craig, two daughters, Mrs. Viola Grigson, and Oveta, who died in infancy. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Tinder and Mrs. Florence Kolaiser, of near Kingman. One brother, Bert Drollinger, of Steam Corner; twenty grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and neighbors; Eightbrothers and sisters have already preceded her in death. She was a good friend and neighbor, a loving mother, and a patient through her four years of suffering. Their home has ever been outstanding for their congenial and happy companionship. Passing away like the sun in the west, sinking fast from our view at the close of the day; thus we pass out of sight, to the home which the Saviour has gone to prepare, where come tho night. Funeral services were held at the Christian church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev.Charles Howard with Rev. Fleetwood assisting. Interment was made in the Bonebrake Cemetery.
