Juanita Craft, 41, of Rt 4, Veedersburg (Stone Bluff) died at Lake View Hospital, Danville Sunday (10-6-1968) at 4:40 a.m. She had been in failing health two years. She was born in Arlington, TX Oct 13, 1926, the daughter of Georgia Flemming Furr and the late Luke Furr. She moved to Fountain County in 1932. She was married at Williamsport June 15, 1949 to Jessie Craft. She attended Logan School and was a member of the Attica Christian Church. She worked with ceramic tile as a hobby and gave them as gifts. Her husband is employed at Tee Pak in Danville as a chemical operator. Surviving besides the husband are two sons, Carl Lee and Terry Max and one daughter, Nancy Joann all at home. Her mother, Mrs. Georgia Furr of Newtown; six brothers, Leroy Furr of Lafayette; Everett Furr of Montezuma; Donald Furr of Newtown; Eugene Furr of Stone Bluff; Kenneth Furr of Oldsmar, FL and sister, Mrs. Catherine Keller of Lafayette; Mrs. Margaret Keller of Perrysville; Mrs. Claudine Webber of Veedersburg, Mrs. Florence Epperson of Auburndale, FL and Miss Betty Furr of Newcastle. She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Furr, July 21, 1968. Services were held Tuesday in the Attica Christian Church, Rev. Harry Randolph officiated with burial in Newtown Cemetery with DeSutter Funeral Home in charge.
