Attica -- Funeral services for Otha E. Cox, age 80, of Rob Roy who died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday Feb 27 in the Lesley Nursing Home at Buck Creek were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. Louis Haskell officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Cox, who had been a patient at the nursing home for two years was born near Kingman January 13, 1885, the son of George and Mary Cox. He was married in Kingman, Feb 20, 1910 to Ida Nolan, who preceded him in death March 22, 1955. He was a retired farmer and had been employed several years at the Harbison Brick Company in Gary. Surviving are: four sons, Ronald of Gary, Gordon of New Lennox, Ill; Russell of Lafayette, Rt 7; and Richard of Weisbaden, Germany; one step-son, Rudolph Nichols of Gary; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Riley of Montezuma; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
