Covington – Cass M. Cox, 80, died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill after suffering a heart attack on Friday. He had been a farmer in Benton & Warren counties, before retiring and moving here in 1950. He attended Covington Baptist Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Danville Ill. He first was married to Carrie Rector, who died in 1946. In 1949 he married Mrs. Goldie Gerard who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Clifton of Covington and Everett of Earl ark; a brother, Russell of Clinton, Tenn; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Human, Knoxville, Tenn; two stepsons, Harold and Jack Gerard, both of Covington and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Primer, Philo, Ill. - kbz
