Mrs. Carolyn Sue Cox, 30, of Tangier, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 1971 at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. She had been ill five months. She was born Jan. 25, 1941, near Kingman, the daughter of William and Geneve Orahood Millikan. She married Jerry Cox June 27, 1958, who survives. She was a member of the Fairview EUB Church. After that church closed, she attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Howard. She was employed as secretary to Dr. Dale Russell, veterinarian, in Rockville. Survivors also include four sons, Alan, Jeffery, Dale and William, all at home; a daughter, Gayle at home; her parents of Tangier Route 1; her grandmother, Mrs. Belle Millikan of Tangier Route 1; and several nieces and nephews. Services were 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at the Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville, with the Rev. Leon Korb officiating. Burial was in Tangier Cemetery. tch
