COWAN, Emory

Emory COWAN, 40 of Veedersburg and father of three children, died suddenly Monday morning of a heart attack while at work at the Hydraulic Press Brick Company at Crawfordsville. Mr. Cowan had reported not feeling well for two or three days before his sudden death although he had been able to be at his work. He passed his 40th birthday on Jan 2, 1954. Surviving is the wife, Esther Clift Cowan; a daughter, Shirley and two sons, John and Jerry all at home; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Dolph also of Veedersburg. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Fishero Funeral Home with burial in Rockfield cemetery. – kbz
