Edna Marie (Stucker) Covalt, 64, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday in the Shahan Nursing Home here after a long illness. She had been a resident of this community 15 years. Born March 15, 1900 in Fountain County, she was a daughter of James and Ellen Cunningham Stucker. She attended the Rob Roy elementary school and Attica High School. For many years she lived in VanBuren Township of Fountain County. Survivors include a son, Dale Ludlow of Phoenix, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Linda and Lana Ludlow of Phoenix, and a sister-in-law, Ruth Parish of Kingman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilmer Stucker. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Bright Funeral Home with burial in Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. - - Funeral services for Edna Marie Stucker Covalt were held Friday afternoon at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. James Richard Clayton in charge. Curtis E. Bright played organ selections. Burial was in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery north of Veedersburg. Mrs. Covault died Monday morning following a long illness.
