COTTRELL, Edward Joseph - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Edward Joseph Cottrell of Attica, age 74, died Saturday morning, August 22, in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital at Lafayette. He was born January 3, 1907, the son of Edward J. and Elizabeth Synesael Cottrell. September 15, 1945, he married Mary Elizabeth King, who survives. Cottrell was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica and Upper Level Senior Citizens Club. He was a retired crane operator, employed by Harrison Steel Casting Company of Attica for 27 ½ years.

  Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Louise Makin of Owasso, Michigan, Mrs. Zeta Mae Stetler of Attica and Mrs. Josephine Rice of Ligonier; and several nieces and nephews.

  The body was taken from Maus Funeral Home in Attica to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday morning with Rev. Edward Matuszak officiating. Burial was in the Attica Catholic Cemetery. – thanks to S
