Alamo - Mrs. Della Dean Cotten, 76, died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Nichols at Danville, Ill. Mrs. Cotten had been a resident on Rt 2, Williamsport for five years after moving there from Alamo where she and her late husband lived for many years. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was married to Clifford c. Cotten, March 30, 1916. He preceded her in death Jan 11, 1973. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Nichols are four other daughters, Mrs. Susan Rosella Gustin of Carpentersville, Ill; Mrs. Helen LaFoe of Covington; Mrs. Vivian Spencer and Mrs. Delores Newlin of Rt 2, Williamsport; four sons, James H of Whitesville; Clifford Jr of Danville, Ill and Bill and Robert L both of Rt 1, Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Susan Hutts of Kingman; 42 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers, five sisters, a grandson and five great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.. Tuesday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, Rev. Harris Stuermer will officiate. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
