Cayuga, Ind. - Daniel Guy Corey, 73, of Kingman Route 1, died this morning (Dec. 23, 1966) at his home. He was born July 28, 1893 at Stringtown, a son of Silas and Lavina Booe Corey. He married Zola Lincoln who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Lee, Robert, Guy, Franklin and Wayne, all of Kingman; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hagart of Dennison, Tex.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, two daughters, nine brothers, and nine sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga with burial in Rockfield Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. -- kbz

Kingman - Daniel Guy Corey, 73, lumberman and farmer, died at his home near here early Friday morning after an illness of a year. Born July 28, 1893, at Stringtown, Ind., he was the son of Silas and Lavina Booe Corey. He was married in Williamsport to Zola Lincoln. Mr. Corey was a member of the Cayuga Conservation Club and of several trap-shooting associations. The survivors include the widow; five sons, O. Lee Corey, Robert Corey, Guy Corey, Franklin Corey and Wayne Corey, all of Kingman; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Haggert of Dennison, Tex.; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, two daughters and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga, with burial in the Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 to 4 p.m. Sunday. -- kbz
