Mrs. Violet Louise Cooper, 55, 709 Elm St., died at noon Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Cooper was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary. A native of Crawfordsville, she was born April 10, 1917, a daughter of Buford and Hazel Songer Cunningham. She married Dowie Cooper in 1943. Surviving are her husband; a brother, James Cunningham of Louiseville, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Tobler of Nyssa, Ore., Mrs. Bertha Mangin of Nyssa, Mrs. Helen Priest of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Rosa Vae Perkins of Norcross, Ga. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
