COOK, Bertha McHargue - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman, Ind. - Mrs. Bertha Cook, 93, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday (April 1, 1976) at her home in Kingman. Born Aug. 14, 1882, in Parke County, she was the daughter of Rev. John and Rebecca Knauer McHargue. On Dec. 20, 1905, she was married to Fay Cook, who preceded her in death in 1959. Survivors include a son, Maurice Cook of Kingman; two granddaughters and four nieces. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Niedhouse officiating. Burial will be in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
