CONRAD, Ivan Jr

Ivan Conrad Jr., 45, rural Covington, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday, December 16, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois.
Born January 17, 1938 in Cayuga, he was the son of Ruth Conrad. On June 7, 1958, he married Betty Miles in Paris, Illinois, who survives. He was a millwright with the General Motors Central Foundry Plant in Tilton, Illinois, for 19 years and had served with the U.S. Army.
Other survivors include two sons, Ronald D. Conrad of LaPorte and Dwayne A. Conrad, at home; a daughter, Rhonda S. Gossett of Kingman; a granddaughter, his mother, Mrs. Ruth Machledt of Newport; his stepfather, Joe VanCamp of Georgetown, Illinois; and a sister, Janet Sue VanCamp of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were conducted Monday at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Jack Holycross officiating. Burial was at Thomas Cemetery near Newport. -s-
