Covington - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary W. Conner, age 70, of Attica Rt. 2, mother of Eugene Conner of Veedersburg Rt. 2, who died Tuesday afternoon, April 9, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. Mrs. Conner died in the Rudisill Nursing Home here and she had been in ill health since Nov. 19, 1967. She was born March 19, 1898, in Fountain County, near Portland Arch, the daughter of Grant and Sarah Helms Waldron. She was a life resident of Fountain County and was married to Clinton Conner. She formerly was employed as a cook in the restaurant at Harrison Steel Foundry and later was employed at Radio Material Corp., both in Attica. She retired several years ago. She was a member of the Attica Christian Church. Surviving are: one son, Eugene of Veedersburg Rt. 2; three brothers, Jacob and Earl Waldron, both of Covington Rt. 3, and Alfred of Attica; one sister, Mrs. Maude Nine of Attica and two grandchildren. The Rev. Harry Randolph officiated at the services and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
