THIMBLE CLUB - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

A club that was organized in Veedersburg 52 years ago called the Thimble Club held a reunion in Hub Park. The club was organized by a group of Veedersburg HS pupils. As members finished their hs studies and many moved to distant part of the US the club disbanded.  Twelve of the charter members were present for the picnic dinner.  Those present were: Mrs. Fern Warrick of Brownsburg; Mrs. Della Green of Fithian, Ill; Mrs. Gladys Furr of South Bend; Mrs. Onda Dice of Converse; Mrs. Vall Thomas of Kingman; Mrs. Hazel Myers; Mrs. Opal Moffett; Mrs. Lela Furr; Miss Rose Boggs and Miss Gleela Ratcliff.
