SALE OF SINKING FUND LANDS – the following pieces, parcel or lots of land or so much thereof as may be necessary will on Tuesday the 10th day of December – next, within the Courthouse in the city of Indianapolis be offered for sale to the highest bidder – the bid being equal to the amount chargeable or such a sum as the Commissioners may be willing to sell for – the same having been mortgaged to the State of Indiana to secure loans from the Sinking Fund and forfeited by the non-payment of interest thereon said sale will be continued from day to day until completed, towit:
Beginning 40 rods from the se corner on the e line of the sw qr of Sec 36 Twp 19N of Rg 8 w, thence west along the state road leading from Crawfordsville to Perrysville 27 ¼ rods; then n 17 rods; thence ne 20 rods; thence e 20 rods; thence s 30 rods to the place of beginning, containing 4 ½ acres more or less; also w hf of se qr in the same section, town and range, containing 80 acres more or less; mortgaged by David RAWLES and Margaret Rawles his wife. Loan, interest, etc $390.25
The e hf of ne qr of sec 23, t 20n of rg 7 w; also the w hf of nw qr sec 25, __ n of 47w, containing 160 acres mortgaged by Sophia CLAWSON. Loan, interest etc $444.42.
The e hf of the se qr of sec 31 and the w hf of sw qr of sec 32, t 19n of rg 7w; mortgaged by Alanson SAVAGE and Mary Savage his wife. Loan, interest, etc $928.92.
