Billy Roberts, mail carrier on the I. N. & S., from Attica to Veedersburg, was arrested by detective Blakely, of Indianapolis, on Friday evening last, as a deserter from the U. S. Army, and taken to Newport barracks in irons.—Attica Ledger – thanks S
