RANDOLPH, Henry - 63rd crop

Source: Lafayette Journal-Courier 2 Sept 1922 Sat p 8

An unusual record of farming has been made by Henry Randolph, of Silver Island, a well known resident of Fountain County.  Mr. Randolph has always been a grower of excellent quality wheat and this year he planted and cultivated his 63rd crop. He has enjoyed excellent health and has always attended his crops personally.  Mr. Randolph believes that this is a record of which he may well be proud and he is now planning to quit active farming.  He is the father of Harry Randolph, ex-commissioner of Fountain County and Fred Randolph of Silverwood near the Parke-Fountain County line. - transcribed by kbz
