HESS, Mrs. Cora

Source: Crawfordsville Review June 19, 1917 p

Attica June 17 - Mrs. Cora Hess, the divorced wife of Lew Hess has filed a damage suit in the Warren Circuit Court against Mrs. Grace Hess, the present wife of Lewis Hess in the sum of $10,000. The suit was first
filed against Grace Brown in April since which time the defendant married Mr. Hess and the complaint was corrected by the proper change of name.  The plaintiff charges wicked and malicious efforts of the
defendant to desert her and induce Hess to live separately and apart from her, who was thus wrongfully deprived of all the happiness of married bliss, and by reason of this wrong she, the plaintiff suffers
great distress of mind and body with great humiliation.  Mr. and Mrs. Hess have engaged legal talent and intend to fight the case to a finish when the case comes up in court.   --- transcribed by kbz
