Dillman, (Dr?) Jack - skips town

Attica, Sept 17 – Dr (?) Jack Dillman took sudden flight on last Monday, leaving his wife and children to shit for themselves. To add tinge to the story it is alleged that he was accompanied by “another woman” from Warren County. It is said that Mrs. Dillman was almost prostrated by the doctors (?) latest caper but reaction set in and she is seeking relief by divorce proceedings which have been filed in the Fountain County Circuit court.
Mrs. Dillman will leave Attica and for the present find a home with her parents in Lafayette. Her father is engaged in the contracting business in that city.
Dillman has been doing business in Attica for about two years. His methods of treatment for his patients were peculiar. He neither used medicine nor the surgeon's knife but he used the "laying on of the hands," method. Some one has remarked that Mr. Dillman was the victim of too much prosperity, that, he lost his head by money possession. Anyhow he went away leaving an account in each of the banks, checking on which has been stopped for the present.
