Plans and specifications for a new $10,000 depot the Wabash railroad is to build at Attica this year are now completed. It will be located on the same ground occupied by the present structure. The length will be 124 ‘ and two inches and the width of 24’. At the east end will be a covered platform 24’ square. West of this will be a ladies’ retiring room 15 to 17’ 10. West of the retiring room is the general waiting room. Opposite this at the rear is another entrance with a port cochere. West of the big room is the office. West of the office is the baggage room and from this room a stairway leads to a basement. At the extreme west end of the building is an express room. The building will probably be constructed of Poston brick with a slate roof and will be one of the handsomest along the line of the Wabash.
