Attica news - The Wabash motor fleet, consisting of 8 or 9 vessels has been taken out of the river and placed in winter quarters. The fleet will be increased with the opening of navigation in the spring by at least two more boats which will be built during the winter months. One is now being built by RS McCord and Joe Riley and will be flat bottomed and a stern “wheeler of good size, designed to carry visitors to and from the camp at Flint, 10 miles up the river during the camping season. --kbz
